Selin Gömüç graduated from the Graphic Design Department of Mimar Sinan University Academy of Fine Arts at 1996. She stepped into the advertising sector with 3. Kusak agency.
Between 1997-1998, she took communication design courses at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, London. Starting in 1999, she worked as art director for BBDO Group Turkey, Total, Terminal Istanbul and as a creative group head at McCann Erickson Istanbul.
She founded her independent design office in 2007. Alongside with many kinds of communication&visual design projects, she mainly is focused on corporate identity and packaging design. Besides her own organisation, she also had a project partnership with Serdar Benli Design Office and together they collaborated with CHERMAYEFF & GEISMAR & HAVIV conducting corporate identity projects as a local agency between 2008-2014.
She is the member of the board at Turkish Society of Graphic Design (GMK). She has won several awards from different contests such as GMK -with social/cultural posters, press campaigns, typography, invitation cards, direct mailing and corporate identity categories- Crystal Apple and New York Festival awards with press campaigns, direct mailings and such. Her works have been published in several international and local books and magazines.
